The Air Jordan 5 Low Dunk From Above is set to be a part of Jordan Brand’s “Dunk From Above” Collection that also includes the Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s ability to take flight, the shoe incorporates distinct tones and materials that are meant to reflect the seasonal theme of soar.
The Air Jordan 5 Low Dunk From Above will be done up in a white tumbled leather upper that takes care of the majority of the shoe. Offsetting the tonal look up top is the hits of blue placed on the netting on the side panels, as well as in the tongue, lining, eyelets and Jumpman on the heel. Below you will find a blue midsole accompanied by the hits of gold placed in the shark teeth of the midsole. The lace lock also comes in gold, while the outsole comes in a translucent icy blue finish. A white Jumpman and a set of white laces complete the aesthetics of the shoe.

Juan Carrillo (News): I’m still trying to figure out why Jordan Brand decided to make the Air Jordan 5 into a low-top. It looks like a custom gone wrong. I don’t even have to think twice about passing on these. The colorway is decent, but not on this particular silhouette.
